The band still hopes to release Eros at some point down the road, but a specific or tentative date is unknown. Deftones were already working on their sixth album tentatively named Eros when bassist Chi Cheng was involved in the car crash that would leave him in a semi-comatose state for the next four-and-a-half years before ultimately claiming his life.
